Germination; Sow indoors. Sow into moist well-drained seed compost. Just cover the seed with compost. Propagate at 18-21°C. This can have very slow and erratic germination(14-90 days). Germination occurs in the dark. Keep the soil moist but not saturated water from the bottom only. Once germinated remove the cover to prevent damping off. Reduce temp. to 15°C(windowsill ideal). Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle into 8cm pots. Acclimatise and plant out 20cm apart in full sun.

Growing; Grow in a mass for best effect. Pinch back when first planted to encourage branching. Water deeply to encourage root growth.
