Prunus Avium, commonly called wild cherry, sweet cherry, gean, or bird cherry is a species of cherry, a flowering plant in the rose family, Rosaceae. Possibly the most attractive of our native trees, it has beautiful clouds of blossom in spring (sometimes referred to as cherry blossom) and its bright summer fruits bring a splash of vivid colour. Its warm autumn leaves fade to a deep crimson, giving your garden a warm glow.

Wild Cherry Tree estimated full grown height: 18 - 25 metres, growing an estimated 20-40cm each year.

Pretty Wild Seeds are registered with the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) under number 7529, so you can have confidence in both our products and advice.
