This could quite possibly be the ultimate poppy collection that delivers a fantastic, colourful display. Pretty Wild Seeds brings together four different species in Shirley Double Mixed, Red Field Poppy, Victoria Cross and finished off with Californian Poppy. A selection put together for its ease to grow and the fact that they will self-seed if allowed, giving a great display year after year.

Pretty Wild Seeds are registered with the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) under number 7529, so you can have confidence in both our products and advice. Although our products are listed in weights and acres, we can supply in additional quantities upon enquiry so if you need a larger supply, please don't hesitate to give us a call.

Sowing; Sow outdoors, March-May or August-October, where they are to flower, 0.5cm (¼") deep, directly into finely-prepared, well-drained soil, which has already been watered. Seedlings usually appear in 14-28 days. Thin them to 20cm (8") apart and water well until plants are established. For a continuous display, make sowings at two to three-week intervals. Sowings made in curves, rather than straight lines, often create a more pleasing effect. Late summer and autumn sowings will flower the following year, often earlier than spring sowings.

    Flowers: June to September.
