Sowing; Sow thinly, indoors, January-April, in trays of seed compost. Just cover the seeds and keep moist. Maintain a gentle warmth at 15-20°C (60-68°F). Thin (prick out) to other trays or small pots when the seedlings have developed 2-4 leaves. Gradually harden off and plant out, late May, allowing 60cm (24”) between plants. Or, outdoors, May-July, in a seed bed. Keep moist. Thin seedlings as they develop. Transplant to flowering position, September-October. Flowers: July to September, the same year from an early sowing.
